Unanswered Questions

1. With the original dataset, I have not been able to answer specifically where these shelters are across Canada and the number of shelters per province.

2. I have also not been able to answer how many different types of shelters women have access to in Canada.

How would you get the data?

1. Statistics Canada and CANSIM would likely have data on the amount of shelters per province so I could do a deeper search on their database. If there is data I am unable to find, I could try sending an FOI request to Statistics Canada asking for more information about women's shelters in Canada and this specific survey/study. Getting this type of data could be useful for looking into which province has the most women's shelters and which province may need more support in this area.

2. Once again, Statistics Canada and CANSIM would be the best place to start looking for this kind of data. Looking at this kind of data would give me a better idea of the types of shelters available in Canada and which province(s) have the most diversified range of services available.
